"Everything about this CD is a stroke of genius, beginning with the title (…). The Sequentia/Dialogos tandem has proved to be one of the most fruitful for medieval music. Their understanding of the structural and grace notes gives rise to a subtle interpretation which in some passages produces an intriguing heterophonic effect."

At the centre of this universe stands Katarina Livljanić, musical director, performer, and creator of the musical reconstruction and textual adaptation. One might call her a truly enthusiastic performer, provided that we restore to the word its oldest meaning. The Greek enthousiasmós indeed refers to the state of being éntheos—inhabited or inspired by the divine. And it would be difficult to find a more fitting word for what Livljanić accomplishes in the space of the chancel.
Because Livljanić, strictly speaking, does not merely sing. She celebrates.
Gesture, word, and sound are brought together as a single action. She moves through the space, raises her hands towards the heavens, addresses the musicians, seeks the eyes of the audience. The body itself becomes language, while the voice continually moves from storytelling to song, from declamation to invocation, assuming different forms as the language changes.

Singer, musicologist and actress Katarina Livljanić has created a programme that one watches, listens to and follows with suspended breath... The ancient drama of Hecuba is not an unpredictable story, but the way in which music and text are united in this project is. The dramaturgical result is brilliant...
Katarina Livljanić's magnificent voice seduces us again and again, not only with its brilliant colour and intonation, but also with the clarity of her diction and her interpretation, focused on the range of Hecuba's emotions in every moment of the performance. The emotional power of her performance shows how deeply she has penetrated the character she is playing.
