The Dialogos Ensemble will be in residence from February, 28th to March, 5th at the Fondation Royaumont for its new project: Hecuba, Queen of Troy.

This new creation explores a theme which has inspired artists since Homer and Euripides. The incredible personality of the Queen of Troy has been resurrected in the works of artists throughout the centuries - from Ovid's Metamorphoses to Dante's Divina Commedia, even mentioned several times by Shakespeare. She comes to us each time with a new face, also in contemporary theatre productions and films. 

In our project, we use two versions of this legend, in Croatian and in Italian, to underline the dense and universal energy of this ancient text as it crossed the Adriatic sea in the 16th century.
